About the Institute

The Russian Studies program at the University of Warsaw, with its 70-year tradition, is highly regarded both nationally and internationally. Established by prominent scholars, it has evolved into a leading academic center for Russian language, literature, and cultural studies.

Today, the Institute of Russian Philology plays a vital role in providing in-depth knowledge of the Russian language and culture, responding to contemporary social needs.
