Graduate Profile: Bachelor’s Degree in Russian Philology
Graduates of the Bachelor’s program in Russian Philology possess advanced language skills in both spoken and written Russian, meeting the C1 level requirements set by the Council of Europe. They have a solid understanding of the contemporary state and historical evolution of the Russian language, Russian literature from both synchronic and diachronic perspectives, as well as insights into Russian history and culture. This program equips them to pursue further education in Master’s programs or enter the workforce in cultural institutions, media, and commercial enterprises requiring Russian language proficiency.

Master’s graduates in Russian Philology achieve proficiency in Russian at the C2 level and acquire in-depth knowledge of contemporary Russian language trends, literature, and current socio-political and economic realities. The curriculum emphasizes advanced written and spoken communication skills in economics and finance, along with specialized translation competencies between Polish and Russian across both literary and practical texts.
